How much do we care about the economy?

Within economics there are many other fields of study and problems to cover, but if one thing is true, it is that when economics tuition in Singapore is discussed on TV or in the press, it is done in a way in which society does not understand the terms used., which leads him to show disinterest and a feeling that what is being said does not concern him and his family.

This is a completely false concept and we are going to present it in brief lines. If we talk about the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or the Unemployment Index, it seems that we are talking about concepts made for an expert economist to understand, but if I tell you that the consumer price index is the one that reflects what the People are going to have to pay for a good, that is, they will have to pay for a good, there it seems that we are already interested more and affects us to a greater extent.

Another fundamental aspect is monetary policies

That is, the methodologies that monetary authorities or governments adopt with respect to the currency and its exchange rate. A prior, it may seem like an issue that has nothing to do with our domestic economy, but if you want to buy a house, for this purchase you may need to request a mortgage loan, that is, if the European Central Bank (EBB) is betting on an increase in the interest rates, this mortgage will affect you more costs, with which you will have to pay more for your house.

This is the problem that causes the disinterest of a large part of the population that does not follow, nor wants, the economy. This is a serious problem, since, as we have said, knowledge of the economy can lead us to make better decisions for our domestic economy and better management of our resources or assets.

Currently, initiatives have already been launched at the governmental and private level that try to solve this situation and seek to change this thinking of people who say that the economy is made only for experts, but it is true that the results obtained are far from those obtained. desired and this is not good for a society that must increase the pace, given that global evolution is increasing.

Everyone, to the extent possible

Should understand how the economy works, who runs the economy and how the decisions made by authorities and governments in our economy affect us. We must all understand that economic decisions affect us directly, not just economists. A rise in the Minimum Interpersonal Wage (SIM) can be linked or is usually linked to a higher disposable income, a higher salary, to be able to create consumption, to be able to spend more.

This is something that we must understand and not neglect, since as we have emphasised in the previous paragraph, this can lead us to make better decisions when it comes to managing our resources or our assets.

To finish, I have invited Professor Juan Ramon Roll, renowned economist and Doctor, professor of economics and director of the master's degree in Economics tuition at the Francisco Mannequin University and the AMMO study centre, to quickly provide us with 5 tips to improve our knowledge on the subject economical.
